and falling asleep during movie is too basic for me to do (and initiating the 'chill' part so I may lose a lot because fo this but oh well)

And yeah, too basic, but that witch from the comic was before they broadcasted Netflix to the whole kingdom, so curses were a lot simpler then. :(

Renting movies had its charm for sure although I didn't use it much so it's more of current observation for me. Did you use it much back then? I don't even remember why I wasn't big fan of them. Was it expensive in the long run? Because that could be one reason or the other would be me being turbo introvert and having no social skills. Although I was always in my local library, so probably it was having no cash + less interaction for me.
Well I was about 6 when it could still be popular :p so no real experience from me, just imagining how it could be :D public library is a brave things, I just quickly grabbed booksz have them added to my card and ran home XD or read everything I found at home.

You didn't have VHS renting store still struggling years later? I think the boom was in similar age for me, remember having VHS section in local general store in elementary school... But dedicated stores were like open for another ten years or so..
And yeah, that was about the same experience for me regarding library i would love to have not only more time but also ability to just focus on one thing for prolonged amount of time. Booksz have to be amazing or I have to do another thing in the background. :/ So sitcoms/movies are better for this

don't even mention sitcoms and movies, I can't even get to that. but I'm doing my best to go back to reading with proper focus, or at least I think I'm getting better
